How do I know if therapy is right for me?
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or navigating a transition, therapy can help. You don’t need to be in crisis to begin. Many people come to therapy because they want more clarity, stronger relationships, or healthier ways of managing stress and emotions.
What if my partner is unsure about therapy?
This is very common. Therapy can still be helpful even if one partner is hesitant at first. We can talk through concerns and discuss what couples therapy actually looks like, what it isn’t, and how it can support both partners.
Is your approach more talk-based or skills-based?
Both. Insight and understanding are important, but therapy is most effective when insight leads to change. I integrate reflection with practical strategies, helping you apply what we explore in session to your daily life, relationships, and performance.
How long does therapy last?
Therapy looks different for everyone. Some people come for short-term support around a specific issue, while others choose longer-term work focused on deeper patterns and growth. We’ll regularly check in to make sure therapy continues to feel helpful and aligned with your goals.
How does confidentiality work?
Confidentiality is crucial part of therapy that helps to create a safe and trusting environment for us to work together. Everything discussed in our sessions remains confidential with a few legal and ethical exceptions: if there is a risk of harm to you or others, if abuse or neglect is occurring, or if disclosure is required by law such as in a case of legal subpoena.
