Types of Therapy

Individual Therapy

“Talk to yourself like you would to someone you love.”

— Brené Brown

Therapy is not about admiring the problem. It is an opportunity to take a good look at yourself and your life path. Together we will work to build the life you want. A good therapist is a coach who listens closely to you and is invested in your growth. I am committed to helping you identify where you are struggling. Together we will develop concrete tools and strategies to live your best life.

Couples Therapy

“The quality of our relationships determines the quality of our lives.”

— Esther Perel

My approach to couples therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and direct. I help partners slow down interactions, name what’s happening beneath the surface, and practice new ways of communicating and responding to one another.

Change happens when insight meets intention—and when both partners feel safe enough to engage differently.

Couples often come to therapy feeling disconnected, overwhelmed, or unsure how they got here. Together, we explore the dynamics beneath the conflict—communication patterns, emotional needs, and the stories you bring into the relationship.

Couples therapy is not about taking sides; it’s about creating understanding, safety, and new ways of relating.

Mood & Anxiety

“Nothing ever goes away until it teaches us what we need to know.”

— Pema Chödrön

My approach is both compassionate and direct. Together, we explore the patterns that contribute to anxiety or low mood—such as self-criticism, avoidance, relationship stress, or life transitions—while also building practical tools to support regulation, clarity, and resilience.

This work is not about eliminating emotions; it’s about learning how to relate to them differently so they no longer run the show.

Young Adults

“You don’t have to have it all figured out to move forward.” — Unknown

Being a young adult comes with a lot of changes, big decisions, and sometimes uncertainty. Whether you’re starting a new job, moving to a new city, finishing school, navigating relationships, or figuring out who you want to be, it’s normal to feel stressed, unsure, or overwhelmed.

Therapy is a place to slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and figure out what matters most to you. Together, we’ll explore your strengths, patterns, and values, while also working on practical ways to manage stress, make choices, and move forward with confidence.

I believe therapy works best when it feels safe, real, and collaborative. My style is warm and supportive, but I’m also direct—I’ll help you see patterns, notice what’s getting in the way, and explore practical ways to make change.

You’ll find therapy here isn’t about being “fixed.” It’s about having a space to be heard, understood, and supported while figuring out the next steps in your life, relationships, or career.

Athletes

“You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn how to surf.”

— Jon Kabat-Zinn

Athletes face a unique combination of pressure, discipline, identity, and expectation. Whether you’re competing at a high level, recovering from injury, navigating transitions, or feeling burned out, the mental and emotional side of performance matters just as much as the physical.

In our work together, we focus on strengthening emotional regulation, building resilience, and understanding the internal patterns that affect confidence, motivation, and focus. My approach is both supportive and direct—helping you develop awareness while also coaching practical tools you can use in real time.

This work isn’t about pushing harder. It’s about learning how to respond differently to pressure, setbacks, and self-doubt so you can perform—and live—with greater balance and intention.
